League of Legends EU problems

As a big part of the League of Legends community, with many players, tournaments and organisations in e-sport being involved with the game, europe is a big part of Riots success with their game.

We love the game, we like the ideas, we enjoy spending time playing and supporting the developers as much as we can.

But we do have the impression of Riot not being able to handle the european sector when it comes to server stability and patching efforts.

Regularly we have to deal with massive downtimes, high pings due to US servers being used for the EU sector, problems after patches (i.e. the german client crashing due to sound issues) and pvp.net bugs, lags and errors.

Also the contact and support for the european sector is a big problem:
While you can see RIOT employees regularly posting on the US forums, it takes days until the same information is given to us europeans (and most of the times it is transported by a european player scanning the US forum).

This is not a recent problem, but much more a continuous problem.
Generally said us european players have the feeling not being appreciated as much as the US community.

This petition was created to show the investors and RIOT how the status in europe is from the communities perspective.

As we love to play the game, all we want are proper servers and a proper information policy towards the european sector.
