Leave David Archuleta Alone!

We, the undersigned, ask Jeff Archuleta to leave his son, American Idol contestant David Archuleta, alone and to stop influencing his terrible song choices and the cease and desist of the intimidation and denigration of the victim in question.

Mr. Archuleta has reportedly been managing all aspects of Davids life and it has been confirmed by producers from Star Search (which David competed in back in 03), Simon Cowell and Naomi Judd, that you are a cruel and overbearing stage dad with a failed music career that is living vicariously through his extremely talented yet emotionally fragile son.

This will cease immediately Mr. Archuleta. You will retire from enforcing your lame
out-dated ideas on young David and, preferably, emancipate him so he can truly find himself as an artist. We love and support David Archuleta, and as such we will take any means necessary to prevent your sick Joe Jackson-esque tactics from hurting our little Archie any longer. And if all else fails, this includes not voting for him anymore.

This is also a plea to American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe to do the right thing and ban Mr. Archuleta (as was done on Star Search) from the American Idol studio and if David wins or is signed by 19 Entertainment, to file a restraining order against Jeff in the interests of your future clients well-being. Thank you.
