In recognition of Prince, his devoted fans would like to honor this modern day legend for his career accomplishments and his contribution to music, and have him inducted onto the Hollywood Walk of Fame for 2008.
For the past thirty years, Prince's admirable musical accolades have spanned the genres of R&B, soul, blues, jazz, new wave, hip hop and rock. His music including "Dirty Mind," "1999," Purple Rain and "Sign 'O' the Times" has brought him to super-stardom.
Prince is known by millions of fans nationally and internationally for his unique imagination, fashions, perfectionism, guarded personal life and his amazing master of musical instruments. He has the respect of many of the industrys top entertainers as well as the ability to bring an audience to its feet as demonstrated by his recent appearance during the Super Bowl XLI halftime show.
We would like to recognize his efforts as he has worked endlessly to put out not only his own music, but has also assisted many others such as Morris Day & The Time, Wendy & Lisa, The Revolution, Vanity 6, Sheila E. and The Family. He has churned out hit records for various stars like Madonna, Sinead O'Connor, Sheena Easton, Shaka Khan, The Bangles and many more.
