A. Modifications to www.93x.com to reinstate live webcasts allowing those cannot receive the broadcast radio signal to hear 93X on their PC.
B. A new webcast would better serve those who cannot find a radio station like 93X where they are currently living or working.
We the undersigned support a webcast version of 93X. Currently there are no reasonable main stream hard rock/metal radio station that are suitable, especially one tuned into the rock dynamic of the Twin Cities. It should be availible in an FM quality (64 kbps) broadcast via the three main computer internet media players (Quicktime, Real, or Window Media). Furthermore, to avoid a possible breech of radio contract voice personalities, during FM broadcast commercial time it should either switch to the DJs microphone and/or sell web commericals/advertisements to pay for the internet broadcast.
The 93X webcast was a great feature to have on your website, for some of us it was our only rock station to listen to while serving in the military in remote areas such as Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Edwards Air Force Base, California, or anywhere overseas. It would also give loyal fans a decent music station no matter where they may be as long as they have an internet connection. Listening to the webcast of 93X is a nice little reminder of home while your listeners are away from the Twin Cities.
Please do your best to bring back your webcast to you faithful listeners.
