Maid with Love is a Community Service Project that aspires to instil in Singaporeans a culture of genuine gratitude and appreciation for domestic helpers. Our team recognizes the hard work and contribution of our domestic workers, and wants to acknowledge their skills and services just as we do for employees in the workplace.
Inspired by the Ministry of Manpowers multi-faceted approach of legislative, administrative, and educational measures to protect our foreign domestic workers, Project Maid with Love will serve to complement the mission and values of MOM. Our team will also potentially work with MOM as an official student body to carry out this project.
Project Maid with Love aims to make every household a Great Workplace for domestic helpers. We propose an approach of a community-centred orientation of societys attitudes towards domestic helpers. Ultimately, Project Maid with Loves vision is People-Centredness, ensuring that the welfare of domestic helpers is essential for a cohesive and harmonious environment in Singapore.
I agree with project Maid with Loves values of fair and gracious treatment for domestic helpers, and pledge to treat them with respect to the best of my ability.
