This petition is to let Lionsgate films know that we DO NOT want a remake of the classic film Dirty Dancing to be made. That movie has meant so much to people and remaking it would ruin that classic for us. No one can fill the shoes of Patrick Swayze, and no one should. This is one of the films he is remembered most for, and in respect of his death it should not be remade.
