No To Military Licences For Austria

The Republic of Austria sold Steyr HS.50 Sniper Rifles to Iran. Those rifles were used by terrorists in Iraq killing our troops.

Shortly Austria will receive the first delivery of EADS Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets for it's airforce. Austrian media reported that those combat aircrafts might not be operable, because the Austrian Ministry of Defense "forgot" to obtain necessary licences for military GPS navigation and encryption systems to transmit data by radio.

Since Austria is not a NATO-member those licenses have to be cleared by the State Department and the Pentagon.

We, the undersigned, ask the USA to deprive those licences from Austria.
