Peticiуn para Disney Channel, PCTV, Sky y Cablevisiуn (Mexico).


Conscientes de la problemбtica existente entre Disney Channel, Sky y Cablevisiуn, que ha dado por resultado las suspensiуn de los Canales de Disney Channel y Jetix en dichos sistemas en Mйxico, se lanza la presente peticiуn para las partes involucradas con el propуsito de invitarlos de manera mбs cordial a reflexionar sobre el impacto de dicha situaciуn en los usuarios de ambos sistemas de cables y en sus compaснas.

Este conflicto amenaza con extenderse a todos los sistemas de cable en Mйxico, por que de no renovarse el contrato entre PCTV y Disney Channel, йste ъltimo canal dejarб de ser transmitido el prуximo 31 de mayo de 2007.

La suspensiуn de las seсales de Disney Channel y Jetix en los sistemas de Sky y Cablevisiуn perjudica a todos: Disney Channel pierde dinero al no poder promocionar sus productos y personajes, Sky y Cablevisiуn Mйxico pierden dos canales de calidad en donde toda la familia puede gozar de un sano entretenimiento y el suscriptor de dichos sistemas se ve privados de ver sus programas favoritos.

Ejerciendo nuestro derecho de expresiуn, solicitamos de la manera mбs atenta y amable a las partes involucradas solucionar el presente conflicto a la brevedad, que hasta ahora ha estado perjudicando a los usuarios de dichas compaснas de televisiуn de paga y que amenaza con privar a mбs usuarios de la posibilidad de disfrutar de dichos canales, ya que muchos usuarios contratamos sus servicios especialmente para los mбs pequeсos de la casa.

Petition to the Disney Channel, PCTV, Sky and Cablevisiуn.

Regarding the dispute between the Disney Channel, Sky and Cablevisiуn that resulted in the Disney Channel and Jetix being blocked on cable TV in Mexico, this petition is being sent to all involved parties in order to invite them to reflect upon the impact of this situation on the users of both cable systems and on their companies.

This conflict threatens being extended to all the cable systems in Mexico because if the contract between PCTV and Disney Channel isn't renewed, this channel won't be transmitted beyond May 31, 2007.

The suspension of the Disney Channel and Jetix on the systems of Sky and Cablevisiуn harms everyone: the Disney Channel loses money when not able to promote its products and personages, Sky and Cablevisiуn Mexico lose two quality channels that provide healthy entertainment for the whole family and the subscribers of these systems are deprived of seeing their favorite programs.

Exercising our right of expression, we ask in the most kind and amiable way that the involved parties solve the present conflict as soon as possible because it has been harming the pay TV viewers and threatens to prevent more viewers from enjoying these channels, especially since many viewers contracted their TV service for the little ones of the house.
