PETITION ASKING THE LISD SCHOOL BOARD TO RECONSIDER CHANGES IN THE 5TH GRADE OUTDOOR SCHOOL WEEK PROGRAM

We, the concerned parents, teachers, voters, taxpayers and citizens, in the Lewisville Independent School District (herein referred to as LISD) respectfully request the LISD School Board reconsider and reverse its changes to the 5th Grade Outdoor School Week program.
We further request that the LISD School Board agree to hear and work with a volunteer task force consisting of parents, teachers, business leaders and other concerned citizens to research and address the concerns and monetary restrictions expressed by the LISD School Board.
We further express our support of the 5th Grade Outdoor School Week program in its current form and express our objection to the changes imposed by the LISD School Board.

The LISD Board of Trustees has scheduled a workshop meeting for Monday, January 16 at 6:00PM in the Bolin Center, 1565 W. Main Street, Lewisville, Texas. Please plan to attend to voice your opinion.
