Petition for the establishment of a badge/patch collector national database

As some of you already know the hobby of badge/patch collecting is in grave danger as certain individuals misuse the items and thus cause over reactive current police and retired police to want the outright outlaw of the hobby..This is NOT the solution as it infringes on one's right to pursuit of happiness under the U.S. constitution. Collecting falls under said right as a hobby provides happiness to the afore said individual/individuals.

A more practical and viable solution is this: The establishment of a national collector database for badge/patch collectors requiring collectors to register,go to a government building (state police barracks,driver's ed. facility, etc.) to be finger printed,photoed,cataloged into a online database, and be issued a special collector's I.D. card which will state: Name,age,place or birth,place of residence,and social security number, These cars can have a black strip on back,bar code,and holographic features to prevent the faking or copying of them, In this there is some means of security in the online and or store sale and trade of badges and patches WITHOUT infringing on a citizens right to collect aforesaid items there of.
