Petition to demand that Canada renig on it's recent exclusion of Cuba to the Summit of the Americas and the Organization of American States (OAS).

Recently, our Prime Minister Stephen Harper, supposedly acted on behalf of us Canadians at the Summit of the Americas by excluding Cuba from the OAS and, in turn, the Summit of the Americas, us and the U.S. were the only two countries to do so. We Canadians have a long positive legacy with Cuba and respect their right to self-determination. Canadians visit Cuba more often than any other country in the world; there are several Cuban universities that provide Canadian Studies as a degree. We cannot stand by and allow Stephen Harper to destroy our relationship with Cuba. I have been to Cuba several times and can honestly say that I love the country and it's people. It is the safest and most enjoyable place I've been in the Carribbean. We cannot allow this demonization of Cuba any longer; it's time to reach out to our Cuban friends by showing our support for their equality and inclusion into these organizations. If you agree that Cuba should be invited to the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Summit of the Americas and treated with fairness and equality then please show your support by signing this petition.
