Petition to indict Mitch McConnell

Whereas Senator Mitch McConnell has chosen to lead the fight to stop unemployment extensions, and the undeniable result of that action will likely result in multiple deaths from those whose income will thus be eliminated, we the undersigned petition the office of the Federal Prosecutor of the District of Columbia to bring charges against Senator McConnell as soon as evidence can be obtained for the following charges.

1. Conspiracy to commit negligent homicide.

2. Negligent homicide.

3. Crimes against humanity.

4. Domestic terrorism.

It is the opinion of the undersigned that cessation of unemployment benefits will cause great suffering and duress for the approximately five million US citizens who will be affected by next spring, and that said suffering could be avoided in it's entirety by the Senator simply obeying his oath of office to protect the United States of America from all threats, foreign and domestic. We assert that the Senator's position of power does not exempt him from American law, and that his actions constitute such a domestic threat by impinging upon the right to life of said American citizens.

We further find that said actions constitute an act of domestic financial terrorism meant to further political ends through the use of starvation, inhumane treatment, and death. We find no credible distinction between the use of weapons and the use of monetary coercion when the result of either is death, they are crimes against humanity worthy of equal merit and disdain.
