Petition to remove Tasmania from the Australian nation

We, the people of Australia, consider Tasmania a false state of Australia. It remains a burden that sullies the intellectual integrity of our fair nation. Why should the people of Australia pay for the mistakes that Tasmania not only have made, but continue to make whilst refusing to make amends for gross acts of environmental, sociological and political indecencies.

We, the undersigned, propose that Tasmania be considered independent from the great nation of Australia, thereby making it its own country. Furthermore, we propose that following the segregation of Tasmania, we revoke all presently existing political and economical ties with the fledgling nation.
