Pittbull Ban in Indianapolis

I do not own a pitt.I have two rottweilers.I know if this goes through any other breed will follow. When will people understand that it is not the Breed but the OWNER who is responsible??? It makes me sick. Why was the dog able to jump the fence and WHERE was the owner at to watch his dog? Some breeds have a stronger bites than others.But it is the OWNER to be held responsible for their dogs actions.It is the owner who should properly socialize their puppy,get obidience Training,take good care of the dog and never let it be unsupervised with kids or any stranger for that matter.I don't care if it's a pitt or a poodle.The Owner needs to make sure the dog cannot jump the fence or get out of the yard when let outside.IT IS THE OWNERS RESPONSIBILITY-THE DOG DOESN'T KNOW ANY BETTER. Come down on the owners-give them jail time for not caring,letting their dog run in the streets,putting their dogs in dogfights and not properly socializing their dog.That is what u should be concentrating on.Because if it's not a pitt those irresponsible owners will just exchange their pitt foe a rottie,akita,mastiff or anything else they can use as a guard dog and fighting dog... If you outlaw pitts you should also outlaw all the child molesters and rapist's that are in Marion County and hurt kids and woman. To make that statement even worth you need to outlaw guns because they also can kill...oh and knives.And before we know it we will no longer have a democraty but a Dictator...
