'Profit' was a short-lived TV show, the first four episode of which were aired on Fox in April 1996.
When I was living in Belgium, I was lucky enough to see all 9 episodes that were filmed (they've since been aired on Trio in the USA).
It is a fantastically plotted and designed drama series starring Adrian Pasdar as Jim Profit, a psychopath who "will stop at nothing to achieve his goals" (Gregory Clark, see the unofficial Profit homepage at http://math.rice.edu/~gsclark/profit.html).
Since tv shows on DVD seem to be a rising (and sometimes illogical) trend (My big fat Greek what???), the time seems right for this superb show to finally get a DVD release.
I'm not asking for a ton of supplements (even though interviews with the creators - David Greenwalt and John McNamara - and the cast might be interesting, and the intriguing preview trailers would certainly be a big plus), but I would be very happy to get a boxset with all the episodes presented uncut and with good picture and sound.
This, my good people, is my strongest wish (along with world peace, of course).

Could have been the best drama series ever if the people at FOX would have had half a brain to leave it on the air back in 96'. I never forgave them. Please Release to DVD, Ill buy two of them!
