2k3servers.com are about to make a little 'change' in Soldier of Fortune 2 Double Helix (v1.00), and a lot of people have within the latest weeks been very interested in the very standard gaming as we also want 2k3servers.com to setup one or/maybe two servers for two different game types.
There are NO standard servers any more, that are owned by such a well known company, and my contacts with 2k3 are good so they will considering to donate free servers for our needs, and as the interests grows, I think this will be possible.
And these servers will be likely the same as the old GibGames servers that was held up in Infiltration with ALL the standard maps (mp_finca, mp_shop, mp_hk1 and so on) and with ALL the weapons (including pistols, grenades...)
However, Please sign up for this petition and they will offer us two standard gaming servers, because there are none alive nowadays, It would be nice to play with all the oldschool settings as well ;)
