Mr. Premier, we are shocked and appalled that you should choose to take down the Canadian flags in Newfoundland because your discussions with the Prime Minister have broken down. This is a childish and disrespectful manner to respond to this situation. If you choose to attack Paul Martin and his Liberal government, so be it, but do not attack the country itself. We urge you to reverse your decision and to find alternative methods in solving this dispute.
