Dear Council Members,
We the undersigned, petition the Nursing and Midwifery Council of the UK to reinstate Registered Nurse Margaret Haywood Registration number 84D0811E to the Nursing Register.
She has raised issues in the public interest, such as; the inability of the Health Trust and its management, the Department of Health and the UK Government to provide adequate financial, administrative, managerial and material resources which has resulted in and continues to result in chronic nursing shortages, thereby preventing nursing and medical staff to provide adequate and appropriate care that effect large numbers of the sick and the elderly.
In this case being struck off the register is manifestly excessive and is NOT in the public interest. We demand her reinstatement forwith.
