Release 2Pac's Music in its Original Form

Since Mr. Shakur's tragic demise in 1996, many fans who supported him when he was alive, as well as many newcomers, have been shocked by the content of his posthumous albums.
The actions in question consist of the remixing of songs Mr. Shakur had recorded differently in their original form, and removing original guest artists that were on these tracks and replacing them with popular artists of today that never met Mr. Shakur nor share his message and vision.
Those who are in charge of these posthumous releases seem to have a lack of faith in Mr. Shakur's true fans, in that they feel we will not buy a Tupac album if it is not remixed and does not have new guest artists. In fact, the opposite is true. Many Tupac fans clamor and pine for a posthumous release that would consist of original unreleased versions of songs, as it would be consistent and in keeping with what Mr. Shakur actually created while he was alive.
The remixing and replacing has led to the huge increase of bootlegging and illegal downloading of Mr. Shakur's unreleased songs in their original version, and many of those who have heard these songs overwhelmingly claim the superiority of the versions that Mr. Shakur finalized over versions that Amaru puts out that are remixed and changed with respect to guest artists. We feel that if Amaru were to officially release the songs in their original form, these bootleg sales would die out and fans would support Tupac's legacy by purchasing the releases but still getting the songs the way Tupac originally recorded them.
We do not mind the remastering or tweaking of sounds in songs, but the changing of entire melodies, choruses, and even removing and censoring parts of Mr. Shakur's songs is something we cannot tolerate.
This petition will be sent to 2Paclegacy.com, the official home of Amaru Records, and will of course be signed by all of us dissatisfied fans in the hopes that our voices will be heard and things will change.
We shall close this petition with a quote from Mr. Shakur himself, from the title song of his 1995 release "Me Against The World":
Don't settle for less - even the genius asks-es questions
Be grateful for blessings
Don't ever change, keep your essence
The power is in the people...
We hope that those at Amaru Records who read this shall strongly consider these words from Mr. Shakur himself and then rectify the release process until it is consistent with the message in this and many other of Mr. Shakur's songs, for the sake of his true fans and his legacy.
