To the holders of the rights to "The Virginian" television series, I would welcome the release of "The Virginian" on DVD. The worldwide fan-base who would love to purchase top quality, official episodes of the show. There are 249 episodes in total, covering nine seasons. A release is overdue considering the success of the show and its ranking as the third longest running TV Western of all time. McFarland & Co. Inc. USA recently published a book on "The Virginian" TV series and it is currently being broadcast in Ireland and Australia. The time is right for a DVD release.

I once saw "The Virginian" blowing a goodbye kiss to his lady friend in the LA Airport. That romantic jesture caused me to like the show even more. Come on guys, just do it! I'm not getting any younger :)
