Revive 'Lone Star'

"Lone Star is an American one-hour drama television series which originally ran on Fox from September 20, 2010 to September 27, 2010, airing Monday nights at 9pm ET/PT.[2] After two low-rated episodes, Fox declared its cancellation on September 28, 2010."

The fact of the matter is, is that Fox unfairly cancelled 'Lone Star'. 'Lone Star' had such great potential for success with great actors, deep story, originality and it just had a great purpose. Now it's gone! WHY?! TUBES!! NO! It's gone because Fox put a new TV show on a VERY COMPETITIVE time-slot. This is bad for new shows. Things like 'Monday Night Football' and 'Dancing with the Stars' are VERY popular shows. To put a new program like 'Lone Star' on such a night where others are going to get more attention is simply setting 'Lone Star' up for failure. Of course, they succeeded! They cancelled 'Lone Star' after ONLY 2 EPISODES! I am very concerned with whoever made that decision. As they cannot see the true potential with 'Lone Star'. It's just not fair to judge and make ratings on nights where viewers will care more about other/popular programs. Frankly, I felt like this show could have been as exciting and as successful as 'The Sopranos'. Why do I feel this way? I'll say it again. Greta story, amazing actors, and a good 45min run time to keep you satisfied for the week.

My argument is very repetitive here, so I shall not banter any longer. I am disappointed in Fox's judgement and in their decision to cancel 'Lone Star'. If you feel like 'Lone Star' was not given a fair judgement or a fair chance, please sign this petition. The fans of 'Lone Star' NEED to prove how wrong Fox was when they cut the cord. This is going to be one of the few ways to revive this show and as fans, we have a responsibility to do so.

"I, a fan of 'Lone Star', a new show on Fox, agree to the following: 1)'Lone Star' was put on a very competitive time-slot in which it could have never of succeeded because of it being a brand new Television show and competing with popular Television programs that have been on-air for far longer. 2)'Lone Star' was not given a fair chance to succeed by only airing 2 episodes thus not giving enough time for a large enough fan base to develop. 3)'Lone Star' was not given a fair chance to succeed by not advertising and promoting the show enough. Online resources were not used enough(or at all) to promote the show(YouTube, social networks such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter). 4)That I do honestly believe that 'Lone Star' is worth the time and effort to not only produce money for Fox but to also create a Television program that could potentiality revolutionize the Drama Television genre."

Come on 'Lone Star' fans. Lets make Fox take back their decision!!
