We the undersigned, being members of the Royal College of Nursing, require an Emergency General Meeting in accordance with the rights of members contained within Bye Law 28. The meeting to address the following business:

The proposed sale of RCN Headquarters at 20 Cavendish Square, London and the deficit in the RCN Pension fund.

And to vote on the following Resolutions:

1 That this Emergency General Meeting instructs Council to stop the proposed sale of RCN Headquarters at 20 Cavendish Square.
2 That this Emergency General Meeting instructs Council to reduce the RCN expenditure in order to meet the deficit in the Pension Fund
3 That this Emergency General Meeting instructs Council to prepare an action plan with a range of options for resolving the pensions deficit to be agreed by the membership at RCN Congress in 2007.
