1) My younger brother decided he wanted to become a member and my father was going to pay for him. Misunderstanding how the system worked he figured he had to make his own account with which to pay. He ended up accidentally putting half a year of membership on his brand new, level 3 account. He sent a message to Jagex explaining the problem and asking if the membership could be transfered to my brother's account. Within half an hour he received the same irrelevant, automated message that everyone receives. It suggested that he become a member. Gee, what a great idea.
2) Recently I was compelled to write some complaints to Jagex. I wrote a total of 4 about different problems I'd had. So far I've received replies to 3. Every one was an identical automatic reply.

3) The final story actually didn't happen to me, but it was what compelled me to write up this petition. He was banned for password scamming. Here is the evidence that Jagex provided.

Please note that he was NOT the one offering to make the other a member or the one asking for the others password. Please also note that he was NOT banned for attempting to buy membership. He was banned for Rule 3: Password scamming.
It seems like an honest mistake on Jagex's part. The machine that handles reportings just made a mistake. That's why you're able to appeal things, right? Apparently not, because the appeal that he sent in was DECLINED. Any human that had taken the second it takes to read this would understand that he did nothing wrong.
By signing this petition, you agree that Jagex customer service is broken and NEEDS to be fixed. Jagex should have an email address devoted to customer support instead of just their in game message system which limits your message to 200 characters (2 to 3 sentences). Jagex also needs to cut back on automatic replies and hire people to actually read their messages.
