Sack Kate Ford

As long-term fans of Coronation Street, we are disgusted at the way the brilliant Dawn Acton was humiliatingly replaced by the appallingly awful Kate Ford. Despite all the criticism of this particular actress, she is still there even though all she does is frown or have that grin on her face no matter what the scene and handles her lines and any storylines she is involved with terribly. There has been no improvement in her acting since she joined. And you could tell from her first scene she was not right for the role.

We are very sorry we have to do this but as no one was listening to the opinions of the public, we felt we had no choice. We love the programme and hate to see it ruined by bad recasting when Dawn was experienced and confident enough in the part she made her own.
