We are ardently opposed to the recent proposal to close the Vermont Avenue Beach Approach and the Goodall Avenue Beach Access or to the closure of any public land which by so doing would prevent beach access, impede diurnal sea breezes, or block ocean views.
These rights of way are PUBLIC property and should not be relinquinshed to a PRIVATE developer---who will develop with or without this public land.
We strongly urge the Volusia County Council to vote "no" to these closures.

This is one "greedy" man who wants to take away our beach approach and again take cars off this section of the beach for his personal use. He has done nothing for DB but take money out of the city.
