We the undersigned are opposed to the sale of the Light Keepers House and land at Swallowtail Light Grand Manan NB. We firmly believe if said property is sold, it will become a land foreign to us as Islanders. This is a heritage and important part of our island, and home. In years to come we want our heritage to remain. The keepers house is in serious state at this point in time, but we seek intervention and any assistance possible to restore and keep our property. We as a community have seen the devestating results of our sardine factory sold, and we ask respectfully that you will help us to keep this heritage property.
