We, who care about Scottish heritage, petition Buchan councillor's to deny the Slains Partnership permission to turn Slains Castle (the castle where Bram Stoker was inspired to write Dracula) into 35 luxury flats.
We feel that this historic castle should be preserved as a ruin as it is a key North-East landmark and one of Scotland's more famous castles, which should be left for present and future generations to enjoy. We also feel that it is an insult that people would be denied the full beauty of this castle to make way for the privileged few who can afford holiday homes.
