The Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve is being threatened by a proposed development, the Fairmont Butte Motorsport Racetrack (Project No. 02-176), funded by Orange County millionaires. (Case # 02-176) We are opposed to this proposed development. It would cause many negative impacts for the environment upsetting the natural habitat of the plants and wildlife. We as concerned citizens would like for LA Department of Regional Planning to turn-down the Fairmont Butte area for the race track.
