Archie Comic Publications, Inc., has decided to cancel the long-running "Betty" title.
Betty Cooper is one of the oldest Archie Comics characters. She has had her own comic book since 1965. "Betty and Me" ran for 200 issues and then was replaced with "Betty" in 1992.
In addition to Archie Andrews (the title character), Jughead Jones and Veronica Lodge each have their own comic book. We feel that Betty Cooper deserves to continue to have her own comic book as well, and we implore Archie Comic Publications, Inc., to spare the title.
