As you all know, PYXI and Wicked13 have decided that the MCRmy.net will be shut down for a period of time. This site has become more than a site. It is a home and we're all a family here. It's done so much for us and we can't let them take us down this easily. So "stand up fucking tall" and let yourself be heard. Take pride in what we have here and don't let them throw it away. If they think that's "where we go from here" then they're wrong. That's not the path we'll take.

We ARE a fucking army and we're the My Chemical Romance Army. If we're an army, we'll fight for this. We won't walk away without a fight. Is it not what My Chemical Romance is all about? For the underdogs who have no say to rise up and be heard? To not take shit from others and to never let them get you alive? Well we're not giving up this army. We're not giving up on it while we're alive. This place has made us feel safe and nothing will replace that. "If you think that I'm wrong, then this never meant nothing to you" so why not at least try?
"I Mean This More Than Words Could Ever Say"
Word won't ever express how much this means to me, but if any words could, then these would.
This is the site that means the most to me. We're like one big family here. Fuck, we ARE a family here. It feels more like a home than an army. There's people here that we'd rather talk to than our real family. There's people here who'll be on our side when no one else is. There's people here to help us through the bad times. There's peeople on here who've become our best friends.
Where we'd be scared of saying something or stating our opinion elsewhere, here, we can make our voices as loud as our thoughts. We're not afraid to express ourselves because we know there are people who feel the same way here and have gone through what we have. Where we might not have felt comfortable talking to someone, we found someone to talk to here. Where there was no one to spread our joy to or to just say something completely stupid, there was someone here to listen and laugh with us. Where there was no one to care for us, someone cared here. When the world felt like it was at it's end, we found safety here. When we felt like we were at our end, there was someone else at theirs too. It makes us feel like we're never alone. That there's someone else out their for us.
It's almost like our second life for us to escape to when our real one becomes to much. We're all so confortable here and we feel like just when it seemed nothing could go wrong, we're being kicked out on the streets.
When we just want to say something and just to tell someone and tell the world and share the news, there's the chitchat for us to go to. When we want the latest MCR news, we can depend on the Group. If we're doubting something, we can share in the Rumors. When we have a story we want read, we have the fanfics. When we're down and blue we have the FAT. Our mods have their own section to share the stories of their lives, when we've expressed ourselves we have the poetry. When we want to pretend to be someone else we have the RP. Concerts, Pictures, Links, and Art, we can share everything we have. We get to know each other through the Games. Other bands to listen to something new. And officials to find those who share our interests.
"Through it all, the rise and fall"
We've gotten to know each other so well and to put an end to it, even if it be for a month, it'd be like cutting off a lifeline. Sure, there are other ways for us to communicate to our friends, but there's a warmth here and can't be replicated in a new forum. Years of living here can't be duplicated with a newly born site. There's the homey feel here that's not just like an empty building. There's something here, I'm not sure what it is, but it just won't be the same with anything else.
We're not asking for a new fancy Rmy. Right now we have the damned debugs that those pisss the fuck out of us, but we're fine with them as long as the Rmy stays open. I don't feel a need for a new, completely re-vamped Rmy. I'm sure we'd all rather that the Rmy stayed open than shut down for reconstruction.
We've gone through other problems. We've faced spammers and haters and we won against them. We've had people try to force the Rmy to close but they've never stopped us. Now, when it's a problem that we have control over, why are we giving in? Why give in after standing up fucking tall for so long? We have control over it this time so don't give up. Don't give up on us.
Is that not the whole message of My Chemical Romance strengthened here? The entire reason My Chemical Romance was created is right here. In us. We'll never stop dreaming and we'll never stop believing and we hope that you'll never stop believing. Don't underestimate what your site has done to our lives. My Chemical Romance said they'd stop when it stops being special. It hasn't stopped being special yet. Stay for as long as they stay in it for. "Never stop believing in us and we'll never stop believing in you."

If push comes to shove, I'm all for finding another way, but until then, we've got one week left and we're not running and we're not hiding until we're completely done here. We're soldiers of the most amazing band who have done as much as a band could possibly do. There will be no running and no hiding when it comes to our end. We have a week and we'll treat it like a lifetime. It's not good-bye until it's finally over. And it's not over yet. There's still a battle to be won. There's still songs to be sung. There's still hope and there's still dreams. There'll always be dreams.
