School buses need seat belts

Dear Mrs. Bush,
I am an 8 year old girl, and live in Lone Tree, Colorado, and I am in 2nd grade. When I go on a school bus for a field trip and the bus usually goes on the high way, there is no seat belt for the people on the bus but the driver has one. I think this is very dangerous to the people riding the bus, especially children. I have an idea that all the school buses should have seat belts for everybody. Can you do something about it since you have been a teacher?

I beleive school buses should have had seat belt already. Our children should be protected in any situation. and we need more budgets and actions toward making their lives and education a smoother transition.
