Scott Niedermayer Not Retiring

We the undersigned are asking that you not retire from hockey. We would all like to watch you play for one or two more years on the Anaheim Ducks. We understand that you have nothing left to play for because you have won everything there is to win, and even have handed your brother Rob a Stanley Cup, which is something that you wanted to do before you retire. You are a great leader and your leadership can help the younger players when they come up to play with the team. Hearing that you might retire came as a shock to all of us and we would like you to keep playing for at least another year. We fully understand that this is your decision, and whatever you choose to do we will respect that decision. So please Scott Niedermayer stay for one or two more seasons and help us win one or two more Stanley Cups!
