He may be pushing 40 but Teddy is still quality class footballer, unlike his equivalent in todays squad, Peter Crouch. Teddy doesn't become a worse footballer with age. If anything he matures. Physically he is still strong enough to cope with the worlds best defenders and he has never relied on pace. he hold the ball up better than Peter Crouch. His ball control is superior to that of Peter Crouch. His headers are more accurate and powerful than those of Peter Crouch. Teddy still scores goals in t he premiership, unlike Peter Crouch.


Sven should reselect Teddy Sherringham for England or else provide the England fans with a thorough public explaination of why his brain perceives Peter Crouch to be better than Teddy Sherringham.
