Silent Hill 4: The Room MUST be in the Silent Hill HD Collection

Konami anounced recently that it will be releasing an HD collection of one of its most cherished franchises of all time: Silent Hill. People were delighted to hear that PS3 and Xbox 360 users will finally have the chance to play in High Definition two games that gave us some of the most frightening moments of our gamer life in the past generation.

However, there is one game that was left out from this collection without any explanation from Konami. One can only assume *why* it was left out.

I'm talking about Silent Hill 4: The Room.

Most of us, Silent Hill fans, acknowledge that the game may not be the best one of the series, but it's definitely not the worst either. And it simply didn't deserved to be taken out as if it never existed, or as if it was "unworthy" of being with the other two.

Silent Hill 4 was the last game in the series to be developed by the original Silent Team. It's also the game that some claim to have started the decline of the series.

I (and hopefully most of the undersigned) disagree with that vision. Personally, I blame the movie and consecuent games that tried to emulate its feel and style as the reasson of such decline.

But anyway, the point of this petition is not to put the blame on anything. The point, and our petition is only one:

We want Silent Hill 4: The Room in the Silent Hill HD Collection.

I really hope that Konami could think twice its idea of putting aside this game. We, Silent Hill fans, still think that its worthy fourt part to our beloved series.
