Over the years in Lorain, Ohio there has been no real place for BMX riders, Skateboarders, Rollerbladers, and etc to ride. Their is only two places for people to go to and that is Pawlak Park, and Chenga world. Chenga is a great place to ride but most people in this city do not have the money to ride their everyday. The other is Pawlak Park, This park is full of violence, drug and gang activity, and even people starting fights with the people who ride their for no reason which makes people not want to go there at all. Also their is broken glass and debris everywhere which can cause serious injury to anyone. The most important thing is that the park was never built correctly in the first place, it has very bad transitions, and is made out of cement which can be very fatal if fallen on. All of these things make people look for other places to ride such as memorial park, black river landing, lakeview park and etc. When that happens riders are told to leave, if not they are even cited and also arrested, and charged with trespassing and vandalism, Even the people not even riding are also arrested. With a new skatepark their can be a stop to all of these so called crimes.
To put a stop to all of this chaos, The city of Lorain needs to put their tax dollars to use and build a safer skatepark for people to ride where they do not have to worry about violence or being arrested by the police.
Overall, the city of Lorain and the and the action sports riders in the city need a new place ride.

I think this is a good idea, a well designed park will increase some tourism, and quite possibly land some nationally know magazine and video coverage, bringing even more people to the area.

we really do need this i dont drive i live in lorain and got to go to avon come on now and i dont got money for skating and i hate getting told by the cops to leave places i dont bother anyone and neither does my crew
