It has been brought to our attention that MLB plans to sign an exclusive seven (7) year deal with Direct TV for $700 million. If MLB follows through with this plan the many loyal subscribers of the baseball package through local cable companies will be shut out. Only the 15 million people with access to DTV will be able to watch out of market baseball. It is clear that MLB only cares about money and the fans come second.
