On April 26, 2007 I received your letter stating that the "BE CUTE. EAT FRUIT." slogan I am trying to trademark is confusingly similar to and will dilute the famous trademark of FRUIT OF THE LOOM. Frankly, I am a bit confused. I would like to know how anybody could confuse eating fruit to wearing underwear. If anyone were to visit my website (www.rawnaturel.com) they would clearly see the difference. Being that you work in the legal department of such a giant corporation, I understand it is your job to vigorously police possible infringements on your companies mark. I can assure you however, that my slogan is not close to appearance, sound and or meaning to FRUIT OF THE LOOM. No consumer would believe that my products originated from your company. Because of this, I will not withdraw my trademark application as you have asked. We the undersigned feel that this is just a big company being a BIGGER bully!
