Yorkshire Forward Serves Eviction Order on 20 YR Established Recording Studio Yorkshire Forward (a government quango with a remit of CREATING JOBS, PROVIDING BUSINESS GRANTS AND IMPROVING EDUCATION) have served and eviction order on Adrenalin Recording Studios and their degree students, generating a domino effect on 20 other businesses. Over the past two decades, studio owner Mark Cartawick has invested 20 years of his life, plus over £250,000 in building and developing the studio from literally nothing.. Yorkshire Forward make bold claims on their homepage about their aim to "boost the economy, create jobs and a strong labour market, promote business and education, encourage skill development, equality and greater levels of prosperity". By forcing closure on Adrenalin Studios, they are actively pursuing the opposite of these claims! Yorkshire Forward are not taking Yorkshire forward! The endless cash resources (tax payers money - YOUR MONEY!) this Quango is wasting is unbelievable. So far, their bill to the taxpayer over this single vendetta against one business is in the region of £1Million. This money is literally being used to ruin jobs, businesses and education, how can this be happening?! Over the years, Yorkshire Forward have undertaken dangerous activities such as blocking off our fire escapes, welding steel plates over windows, and surrounding the building with razor wire and spiked railings. A rat infestation was even created by Yorkshire Forwards contractors' laziness and filthy work attitude, through boarding up rotting food in the building. These have all had a knock on effect to our business; clients feeling unsettled and not returning due to the state of the building, recording sessions disrupted due to excessive noise, and students feeling unsafe.
