We the taxpayers of Canada wish to emphasize to the Prime Minister of Canada, the Honourable Stephen Harper, the importance of local CBC programming in rural Canada, including our area in Central Newfoundland. We implore the Prime Minister and his Cabinet to provide such funding to CBC as might be necessary to ensure that staffing levels in these locations are not reduced, such that CBC can continue to provide the service we want and need.
