Support Funding for prevention, treatment and funding a cure for diabetes

Diabetes affects meand my vote. As an American impacted by diabetes, a disease that takes more than 224,000 lives each and every year, I depend on my elected representatives to ensure that the government prioritizes the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for diabetes.

I am asking my Members of Congress to support and increase of $1 for every person with diabetes ($20.8 million) for prevention and treatment efforts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and a 6.6\% increase for research funding at the National Institutes of Health.
