Our aim is to create and develop a thriving hub to encompass all age groups. A place to equal, if not better, other celebratory/community centers locally. As well as encouraging new interest in our village, we want to rekindle village spirit and a coming together of all age groups.
The hall is currently well used, but not well enough. It is expensive to run, and struggling to compete in a highly competitive environment of refurbishment, newly built village halls. The re-development will offer existing and new user groups a far more attractive, welcoming space to socialise in. In addition, the extension will provide an already flourishing pre-school a dedicated building from which to grow further. This will lead to new families coming to the village, acting as a feeder to Roxwell School, and helping to improve people's awareness of the village.
The re-development will have a significant impact on Roxwell Village for all ages for years to come.
