Teacher Layoffs: LETS DO SOMETHING FOR OUR TEACHERS
Many of you may have heard about the massive layoffs that have been occuring with the East Side Union High School District. The Board of Directors along with the Budget Task Force have started the process of LAYING OFF some of our most VALUABLE and LOYAL teachers.
Some of these teachers have been with Independence High School and other high schools in the district for over 20 years. This is a great tragedy we are witnessing; these teachers deserve better than a pink slip. They need YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT.
