We hereby demand that Telkom provide the underserved area of Makhaza (in Khayelitsha, South Africa) with broadband Internet access. In particular, IkamvaYouth's computer lab at the Nazeema Isaacs library which is used by its members and the wider community.
We demand an end to this unacceptable lack of service delivery, and trust that Telkom will acknowledge the importance of providing Internet access to disadvantaged learners and community members in Makhaza, and follow through with its initial agreement to install ADSL in the lab.
