The Burrell Bucs Paintball Team

As paintball is now, it is the third ranked most played sport from men and women from ages 15-26. We propose that a club should be formed to honor our beloved sport so that we may have the opportunity to belong to a sport that we thrive in and enjoy doing. All we ask is that we can use the "Burrell Bucs" title for our club.

We, the undersigned, wish to play for the school that we are students of. We wish to take pride on the field and know that we are playing for something worth while. Most importantly though, we wish to play as a team. With the title of the Burrell Bucs Paintball Team, we can enter special high school tournaments all around this region, state, and nation. We don't ask for money, nor respect as of now, but we do ask to be recognized.

We understand that you see the idea of school plus guns (although they are markers) equals trouble, but all true paintballers can assure you thats not the case. We want to play not to disrupt. The stories that you read in magizines and newspapers are more bias than fair. The kids that you read about, do not play paintball. They are the ones who are not accepted onto a team and can't think of anything better to do with their equipment.

Please understand that as time goes on, there will be more and more players like us in the high school, in the middle school, and even in the elementary. Its a growing sport, safe, fun, and anyone can play it (race, sex, height, age, religious belief, backround, history, sexual preference, hadicap, skill level, it doesn't matter...the sport has been changed over the years to accept any and all onto the field). So thank you for your time and we wish that you can accept us as a school team.
