The Federal Do Not Spam Law

Spam is annoying and disruptive. I setup my e-mail account to communicate with friends, family, business clients, and those I choose to speak with. I did not setup my e-mail account so deceptive marketers could send me advertisements without my permission.

The federal government made a Do Not Call List, I believe that we should have a Do Not Spam List. Basically if you wish to have a spam free mailbox then you add your e-mail address, and it would be a crime to send you spam.

If you wish to receive you would simply not add yourself to the Do Not Spam List.
