The Future of Ganondorf in Super Smash Bros.

The first in a series of petitions concerning the popular videogame series Super Smash Brothers.


This petition was created for 2 purposes:

1) The inclusion of Ganondorf, Prince of Evil, in the next Super Smash Brothers videogame. He is my character of choice in the present incaration of the game and is a worthy addition to the roster of characters. I have heard talk of nintendo dropping him for their next release. I would rather see any other character leave than Ganondorf. He is worth a lot more to the series than say Young Link for instance, who is a NEAR exact clone of link. Ganondorf is a much better villain than say Bowser and you cannot have Link and Zelda without Ganondorf. He is a well established, well known character with a lot of potential and he deserves to be included. He also has a lot of potential, which leads me to my next area of interest:

2) Shared moves lists in the current game are annoying, unnecessary and irritating, HOWEVER, it makes sense for the characters who share moves, to share moves. For example, Pichu and Pichu are very similar and although it would be great if they had different moves, its understandable that they have the same. The same can be said for Mario/Dr Mario, Link/Young Link, Marth/Roy and even perhaps Falco and Fox. But why do Captain Falcon and Ganondorf share moves? 2 characters from entirely different universes who have nothing in common. Not only this, but Ganondorf is not a sidekick or a spin-off a la Dr Mario or Falco, he is a fully fledged character in his own right. He has tons of potential techniques. He may wield his sword from Ocarina of Time (which would be great), he may have the use of some of his magical abilities, he may be able to transform into Phantom Ganon, these are all wild ideas, but one thing is sure: HE MUST HAVE HIS OWN TECHNIQUES. Also, he has abilities other than physical attacks, how about some expansion on those? And with the revolutions mystery controller so great that nintendo dare not to expose it, there will surely be enough buttons to create a wider range of moves. This part is not concrete, I dont mind if he only has physical attacks, but it would be nice if he had others as well (the energy ball he uses from the penultimate fight in Ocarina of Time would make a great projectile attack)
