The Golden Compass, Subtle Knife and Amber Spyglass Petition

Hello. I have set up this petition because I believe it is not fair that the second book in the His Dark Materials series which is called The Subtle Knife may not be made because the first book The Golden Compass has performed poorly in America but guess what? it has performed well across the world including Australia where I live. New Line Cinema has announced they may not make it because of the reception across America but i view that as unfair and selfish on their part. Fans like me have so eagerly awaited the series to be made and it would also not make sense if they only make the first book. I am asking every one of you to please sign this so the fans of the His Dark Materials series can get what they have been waiting for. I am asking you personally to agree with me and sign this so New Line doesnt have a reason to not make it based on the American reception.



It would be gratefully appreciated if you sign this petition so New Line have more than one reason to make the two eagerly awaited books into movies. It would help if you signed this because New Line currently only have one reason to make the two books which is because the box office has grossed over the production budget. I for the last time ask you to sign this petition as it would be greatly appreciated by all fans of both the book which is called The Golden Compass and the Movie which has not had a good run in America but that does not matter. Please sign this petition and hope that New Line dont use America as an excuse to not make the Subtle Knife or the Amber Spyglass.
