The Police - Les Arenes,Frejus, France 28th August 1980
Best ever Police Concert (and the fans favourite) Andys Police sound at its most evident, the most energetic performance, tightest gig, and Sting going mad at someone throwing mud at him this was The Police in there prime live the 1980-81 world tour. This was the best they got before the horns and backing singers came along.
This gig was THE Police sound, energy and basically some of the best live versions ever. The 1980/81 world tour was the Police at their peak in my opinion. Clips of this concert are featured on Police Around The World & Urgh! A Music War

THE POLICE - THE OMNI, ATLANTA 11th June 1986
About this unique concert. This was the first time the band played together since Melbourne Showgrounds on the 4th March 1984 and this was the 1st of 3 reunion gigs for Amnesty International on the Conspiracy Of Hope Tour.
Their was alot if expectation from fans when they heard they might be reforming, and the band did not let them down with this blistering performance, which was a combination of energy, unique live versions only played at this show, Andys Police sound was very evident and the speed and rock style was great, so they obviously had a point to prove, especially with U2 on the same bill, which made this the best show of the 3 reunion shows).

Message
This concert in my opinion features the best live versions of Wrapped, Message and Roxanne. The video is amazing, so this will make a great DVD extra to Frejus when it sees the light of day. VH1/MTV have the complete concert in there archives. (Clips shown on Police Behind The Music 1999)
