It's been said time and time again that ours (TOWER CLIMBERS) is
"The Deadliest Job in America". It's also said to be one of the most ignored. Both statements are more often than not made by people who have both feet firmly planted on the ground and alot to lose financially. Tower and communication companies across the nation each have their own opinions regarding this issue yet none seem to be able to agree on any one solution.
As tower workers we all seem to agree that something needs to be done. We've all heard the arguments from both sides of the issue. But there seems to be little if any effort being made towards developing a viable solution. So, we've jointly decided that if we, as tower hands/workers don't take control of this issue that it will only continue to be the most dangerous as well as the most ignored occupation in America.
This petition is our voice. United we stand. Divided? We literally fall. It's time that we took a stand and develop our own solution to the multi faceted problems that continue to plague our chosen profession.
Who better than the people who are at the greatest risk? The tower climbers themselves.
