This petition relates to the criticly acclaimed new TV Drama Veronica Mars, currently airing on Tuesdays at 9pm ET on UPN. MTV showed Veronica Mars reruns on probably four or five different occasions on Tuesdays at 7pm ET. Many fans were introduced to the show through MTV and got hooked when suddenly the show was dropped from the schedule. For many fans this meant that they would be unable to view the show as UPN is not available in a large percentage of the country.
It's not as if the show was replaced with anything fresh or interesting. MTV opted for Real World reruns instead. Veronica Mars is perfect for the MTV audience. The show is also an ideal source for creating interest in the music used in the episodes.
We ask that MTV bring back Veronica Mars to it's schedule, meeting the demands of the millions of fans that it left cut off when it chose to drop the show.
